One of her paintings hangs in a White House office and at the International Monetary Fund.
Alexandra's work is based on the principles of positive psychology. She continuously explores the impact that color has on our lives — how it can influence our mood, affect our state of mind, and even trigger physical reactions.
Her background in architecture and design comes through in her series of wall sculptures, where she expresses a desire to build, arrange objects, and play with different materials, mediums, shapes, and colors. A sense of spatial relationship between the object and its surroundings is present in her installations. Each piece is created through a carefully planned and meticulous process, where repetition and subtle symmetry lead her into a meditative state.
Her paintings are more experimental — a cathartic way to express passion and emotion. Tied more to the feeling of the moment than to a specific outcome, painting becomes a liberating process, as she pours both paint and emotion onto the canvas. Her abstractions share a common thread: a reflection of life itself, full of light and shadow, rhythm and layers, and the duality within every experience.
She finds inspiration in architecture, nature, and the cultural richness she encounters in her travels. Alexandra aims to offer an optimistic vision of the future, infused with attitude, audacity, and strength. She wants to add color to our days in both a symbolic and emotional sense, reaching out to the viewer to connect through color and passion.
